Venkat Sai Kolli is an F-1 international student, founder, tech innovator, and speaker, currently based in Aurora, Colorado. As the solo founder and developer of OURB, he built the entire MVP from scratch using Flutter and Firebase — launching the app live on the App Store in early 2025.

Venkat’s vision for OURB goes beyond transportation. He saw firsthand how challenging it is for newcomers to find trusted people for everyday needs — whether for a short ride or a temporary stay. OURB was born from the mission to make local connections more trusted, accessible, and human-centered.

With features like 24-hour auto-deleting chats, personal information masking, location-based SOS alerts, and moderation of harmful language, Venkat has built a platform that prioritizes privacy and safety while fostering genuine connections.
